House Rules General Living Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM Guests: Please provide advance notice for overnight guests. No more than 2 overnight guests per month, with a maximum stay of 2 consecutive nights. Cleanliness: Keep your personal space clean and tidy. Clean up after yourself in common areas immediately after use. Security: Always lock all doors and windows when leaving the house. Smoking: No smoking inside the house. If you smoke outside, please dispose butts properly and ensure the doors are closed so no smoke enters the house. Kitchen & Common Areas Kitchen Use: Please clean immediately after use to keep common area clean. Shared Supplies: As paper towels and cleaning supplies are shared please contribute to their replacement. Laundry: Limit laundry use to between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Remove your items promptly. Common Area Etiquette: Keep personal belongings out of common areas when not in use. Utilities & Maintenance Thermostat Settings: Heating set to 68 F in winter, cooling to 74 F in summer. Please adjust only within these parameters. Water & Electricity: Turn off lights, fans, and water when not in use to conserve energy and water. Repairs: Report any maintenance issues or damages immediately. Internet Usage: Excessive bandwidth usage that affects other household members is not permitted. No illegal downloading. Financial Matters Rent Payment: Due on the 1st of each month. Late fees apply after the 5th. Security Deposit: Will be returned within 30 days of move-out, less any damages beyond normal wear and tear. Move-Out Notice: 30 days' written notice required before moving out. Condition: Room must be returned in the same condition as move-in (minus normal wear and tear) and walls painted back to original color, if applicable.
