Cleaning: Because time can slip away easily with busy schedules, a chore chart is used to keep track of whom scrubbed which shared area last and/or purchased disposables (i.e. soap and paper towels, etc.). The full scrubbing of each common area is done on a round robin system every two weeks. Personal items are kept inside the rooms and there is never dishes left in the sink. These small efforts ensure the home doesn't feel shared to the next person. Further, when having guests over, you can rest assured that the common areas of the home will always be tidy. Atmosphere: It is a laid back atmosphere with no "drama." This is a nice place to enjoy a nap, read a book, watch your favorite TV show or have a friend or two over for a low-key dinner. The backyard has a fire-pit, table, chairs and room for your grill. The home is nestled in the back of an established neighborhood and is well maintained. This is a great situation for college students, military or government employees, professional persons, recently divorced or someone in a transitional period of their life, etc. You will be centrally located just a few blocks from the major intersection of Sewells Point Rd, Chesapeake Blvd., Norview Ave. and about one mile form interstate 64, Kmart, Norfolk International Airport, McDonald's, KFC / Taco Bell, bus routes and is approximately a 15-20 minute drive to Hampton, Virginia Beach, or Portsmouth.
