In 1993 the interior of this house was stripped of the old lathe and plaster. We then installed copper plumbing, wiring, phone lines and cable throughout, and insulated the entire house. After that all rooms were sheetrocked, taped, textured, sealed and painted. In 2005 we again gutted the bathroom, kitchen and laundry room. We sheetrocked, taped, textured, sealed and painted those rooms. The bathroom received new tub, toilet, vanity, medicine cabinet & flooring. Both the kitchen & laundry room had new cabinets installed, along with peel & stick flooring. A new water heater was installed at the same time. In 2011 a random tile look laminate flooring was laid in the kitchen & laundry room. A new furnace & A/C was installed in 2012. A detached one car garage has also been remodeled with a concrete floor, new roof, new garage door with remote and lots of work cabinets. There is a full attic above the house, with an access ladder in the hallway. In 12/2015 we installed a wonderful walk-in shower in lieu of a tub/shower. New water heater installed 2015. The homes side sewer was replaced September 2016 with ABS. Neighborhood Description This is an older neighborhood; near the Sumner transit station; and within easy walking distance of downtown.
