    What's special

This house has just been brought into the 21st century! The kitchen has been totally remodeled with all new appliances, maple cabinets, and granite countertops! The original hardwood floors had been covered for years by carpet, but were sanded, refinished, and brought back to life. The same goes for all the original woodwork and trim in the house. Including the built-in china cabinet in the dining room. The home has three bedrooms and two full baths, with one bath being in the basement. The basement is partially finished with a cozy family room. Out back you will find a cute yard with an all mason, two car garage. Neighborhood Description Forest Park is a great place to live, this might be biased because I grew up here, but I have lived all over and can't find anything like this town. First this property is only three blocks from Madison Street, which is a booming retail district. The town has at least 10 different restaurants, numerous shops, our own ice cream parlor, aquatic center, skate park, and tennis courts. Plus, Forest Park is centrally located in the middle of two "L" stops, the green and blue lines (Harlem & Desplaines), the Metra train station, the Eisenhower expressway, and numerous bus stops. If you are in the market for private schools, you can look here in town or within 15 miles in any direction and find at least 10 different schools. There is plenty to keep active with here, but when you want to step out and hit the big city, you are only 10 minutes from that big night on the town!
