Convenient to (1 mile away) Cascade Village Shopping Center, with Trader Joes, Target, Food 4 Less and many, many other stores and restaurants. The main bedroom has an Amish-built, solid oak, extremely comfortable King bed. The second bedroom doubles as a study. If you want to go out and explore the area, there are beautiful hiking trails along nearby Deschutes River. Tumalo State Park (.5 mile distance) ($5 day use fee), Sawyer Park (2.5 mile distance) and Riley Ranch (1.5 mile distance) are large beautiful nearby parks with trails to hike and with access to the Deschutes River Trail. There is an active Foodie scene in Bend, and some nice restaurants nearby. Among those we recommend are Little Pizza Paradise, Monkless Belgian Ales Brasserie, Yoli Korean restaurant, Zydeco Kitchen and Cocktails, Ariana Restaurant, McKay Cottage, Bangers and Brews...and on. A helpful resource for up-to the -minute data is the Facebook group Bend Foodies. If you love coffee, you are in luck! We love going to Thump Coffee and Bakery downtown or on York, Motorcycle-themed Spoken Moto, Lone Pine Coffee Roasters, Dudley's Bookshop Cafe... The Bite is a fun place to go hang out and have a beer and food. There are numerous food trucks. You can grab a beer and hang out in the indoor or outdoor areas. There are welcoming fires to gather around in both areas. McMenamin's has an amazing bathhouse with a secret bar if you want a fun and romantic adventure. Live music at Les Schwab Amphitheater...
