Bright and airy 1 bedroom apartment in downtown Madison! It's right on the Southwest Commuter trail and has a view of the Capitol. Sublet available starting 10/1, and the current lease runs through 5/31/21. I'm also perfectly happy to pay the lease breaking fee and have you start fresh with your own one year lease. I bought a house, so I'm moving! I'll miss this neighborhood - easy walking distance to Brittingham Bay and easy biking distance to all of downtown. The kitchen is great - huge island, big pantry, built in microwave (so it's not taking up counter space). I also love the balcony (and it's high enough up where mosquitoes aren't a problem!), and the view - you can see the Capitol out of the windows. There's also a big walk-in closet in the bedroom, and a washer and dryer in-unit. Central air with a programmable thermostat, and no shared ventilation with the neighbors (you'll smell people's cooking etc. in the hall, but not in the apartment). The building is theoretically non-smoking, but they don't seem to care about pot smoke (which is part of why I'm moving - I have asthma). The photos are mostly from before we'd actually moved in, but there are more photos on the apartment website. $1530 is the base rent price - the apartment complex also charges $25 per person per month for water, $145 for covered parking, and pet fees if you have a pet (our cat was $25/mo). Dogs are also allowed, though I think there are some breed restrictions.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
