This home is old but very sturdy with lots of character. Under the carpeting are the original pine floors. I did not have the money to restore the floors and went with cheap carpeting instead ( tragedy ). This property has a lot of potentials if someone had the skill and vision to make it shine. The lot is large with many old fruit and nut trees - English walnut, black walnut, hazelnut, fig, several types of apple, several types of plum, and cherry trees. Also garlic, mint, and flowers. At some point in time, a watering system was in place but I have never tried to revive it. This property location is zoned R2 - residential/commercial. City gas comes up to the house although I have never used it and the home is currently all-electric. A driveway can be put in from Stacey Lane which would give a much better option than parking on the street. You can see the 4th of July fireworks from the front porch. Lots of wildlife comes through because of the proximity to the Empire Mine State Park which is behind us. There is a trailhead that gives "private" access to the many walking trails. (private because no one knows about the entrance). It is a great piece of land and an old home that has sheltered many over the years. So much untapped potential waiting for the right owner to capitalize on it.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
