The property is located just outside downtown Clayton. It's a nice neighborhood with only a short walk to Forest Park. Also walking distance from the local Schnucks and Walgreens. I could not say there were too many better choices when I was searching for apartments in the area. My experience here for the past year and a half has been more than ideal. The landlord, Ron, does an exceptional job getting back to tenants needs or concerns. He is very willing to work with us if we are having any issues with certain features. For example, he fixed the clog in my garbage disposal well below the price of an actual service. He also takes venmo as a form of payment rather than relying on mail. The neighborhood is very quiet and most passerby will smile and wave as you walk by. The other tenants in my building became friends of mine not soon after I moved into this building. Owner pays for water. The washer and dryer in the basement Renter pays for gas, electricity and a small $20 fee if owning a pet in the home Tenants are also given a storage unit in the basement as well as a free parking space included behind the apartment in the ally way Tenant is responsible for fixing any holes made in the walls before their lease is up. You are responsible for making sure the garbage disposal isn't overloaded but the landlord will fix at an adjusted cost depending on the severity of a clog. No smoking in the building but there is plenty of space in the backyard if you wish to do so.
