    Quaint cabin newly-built in the Fall of 2022 has plenty of space for your private getaway. New driveway and walking path back to it. Septic and water well sites surveyed, planned but not installed. Amish built cabin set back into the woods, is 20’ x 24’, with 6’ wide porch - approximately 800 sq ft of interior space. The cabin rear porch overlooks a downward slope and sits in the center of 4.1 acres of mostly wooded land. Two small streams run upon the property with one of them near the cabin and audible from the back porch that is elevated 5’ from the ground. Deer trails and plenty of wildlife surround the home that sits upon a post and beam foundation set upon shale stone. After buying the property, we cleared some trees to add a stone driveway and to create a path for the cabin to be built back further into the woods -with lumber and walls carried to the site by hand. We also cut most of the grapevines on the property that were choking sunlight from trees that sit upon it (many of the trees are oak). The property is bisected by an electric line, 2 poles on opposite edges of the property line, so under them, a clearing, is where we stopped the driveway with parking space for about 6 cars. The power company needs to have access underneath the lines, if ever needed, but the space that is cleared is perfect for septic leach line placement (which the county and power company both were fine with). We had septic plans drawn up, and the well location but did not put them in (we were exploring other options such as a rainwater catch system, incinerating toilet, etc.). The interior of the cabin is not finished, so you can make it how you want it. The roof is steel with painted siding.
