1950's Brick Ranch Rambler Neighborhood Description Quiet, friendly, family neighborhood with pedestrian traffic close to White Rock Lake, downtown and shopping. Recreational Center with splash park and playground. Other parks nearby. We were surprised at how much we loved this neighborhood and the people in it once we settled in. We are only moving due to change in job status. As for schools, some neighbors have transferred into Stonewall Elementary or Lakewood Elementary School Districts, other neighborhood children attend private schools such as St. Thomas Aquinas School. There are several nice preschools to choose from in this centrally located area.
