Our home sits on 27 acres in a pastoral valley overlooking the Green Mountains. Our neighbors, whose homes are just out of sight are also our friends. They raise beef cattle, ducks, and berries. It is deliciously quiet here, but just 4.5 miles away from the historic the village of Middlebury, which is filled with activity: Middlebury College, restaurants, art and craft galleries, museums, a movie theater, a live theater, interesting shops, a terrific public library, a food co-op, and supermarkets. Our home is beautiful and quiet. It is oriented toward the south and filled with sunlight. Built in 1991 and renovated in 2012 and 2021, it is fully furnished with antiques and fine new furniture. It has an open floor plan with views across our lawns, flower gardens, and hayfields to the Green Mountains. The kitchen overlooks dining room, which flows into living room (with gas fireplace), which opens into sunroom with a 55" smart TV, couch, and two marvelous easy chairs.
