654 W Lyman Avenue was our pride to renovate. Just a couple of years ago we received Historic Designation for this home. We removed absolutely everything except the floor joists, wall framing, and ceiling framing. This allowed us to build to current codes and introduce very high efficiency. The home is insulated like a Yeti Cooler with spray foam applied to the underside of the roof deck, walls, and under the floor. The new kitchen has all new stainless appliances including a dishwasher. The floors are all new real oak, not engineered wood. New windows, all new tile, etc. What is lacks in size, 836 s.f., it makes up for in quality and livability. The front porch is wonderful and the neighborhood is very walkable. There are many restaurants just two blocks away, MLK Jr. park close by, Publix, Sun rail, Trader Joes, movie theater, Park Avenue, etc. Renter pays for utilities, internet, etc. There is a small cottage behind the house that currently has a tenant in it. The water meters are connected so main house pays for both water bills which is taken into consideration in the rent price. First month and deposit due at signing.
