    What's special

No Showing until Mid-July. Wonderful pre-war gem in one of the best self-managed Finnish co-ops in Brooklyn. Was originally a 4 room but the living and dining rooms have been combined to create a large space for entertaining. Loads of closets including overhead storage in the hall ways. Windowed eat-in kitchen, windowed bath. High ceilings add to the sense of spaciousness. New windows, renovated bath. The whole apartment given a make-over stripping off years of wall paper, etc. This co-op was the first in Brooklyn to put solar panels on the roof, and there are organic garden plots in the back. The apartment looks into the beautifully planted courtyard and at the back garden. Sunset Park is just across the street and offers a Community Center with a gym, pool, basketball and is a lovely setting for picnics with a beautiful view of the harbor and lower Manhattan. There is an assessment of 20/room (so $80 for this apartment) to cover the cost of the solar panels that ends in September of 2017.

This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
