Whooo man....I've put some WORK into this one! What can I say, I love to build stuff, and I hope you love the place. Two custom bathrooms with exposed copper piping, sweet tile work, a brand new water heater, I built new kitchen cabinets, installed an induction cooktop (THE way to cook btw), and some sweet custom artwork for the living room and master bedroom. Bigass brand fan in the living room (Haiku), and if you're nice, I'll leave you my Jura espresso maker. It's life changing. Floors are ground and sealed concrete. Bring house slippers. In-unit washer/dryer, and a nice shady courtyard with strong wifi, and who knows, maybe a hammock or two so you can enjoy the spring weather! I installed industrial-grade water filtration for the whole building to remove that "desert twang flavor" we are known for here. Legit bottled water quality at the tap. Yum! The back porch has been upgraded with steel gabion (box full of rocks) walls, solar lighting, and an electric grill, and I'll put some seating out there too for you to relax on. Putting the finishing touches on the unit interior now (if you want updates/etc you can find me @darwin_crawford on insta, watch my stories, I post most stuff up there) and will be completing the courtyard wall this spring. The apartment comes furnished, and will be available on or around 1/15/2023. Spring rates are $2600 per month (plus tax of 2.65%) with all utilities and wifi INCLUDED, and go down in the summer. Full solar on the building too! Longer lease terms available if you just ask. One covered parking spot in the back, and plenty of street parking. Pleasantly eclectic neighborhood, with Echo Coffee within walking distance, and Beg Bakery just down the street. I love responsible dog owners. Sorry, no cats :( Gated courtyard. Paiute Park just steps away, and City of Scottsdale tennis courts too. Less than 5 mins to Old Town. I live about a mile away if you have any issues. Golf cart rides included for nice people. Come by and take a look, I'm in the home stretch of this renovation, and it'll make an awesome place to hang your hat for awhile! Ok gang, here's the lease deets for my benevolent dictatorship around here ;) 1. 30 day minimum stay, yes, it's furnished. If you want a longer lease, just ask! 2. The ENTIRE property is no smoking/vaping. Pot is fine, as long as it's OUTSIDE. Cigs are a great way to get booted out fast. 3. I pay all the utilities. That's water, electric, gas, wifi, and good mojo. 4. Keep it clean, or I'll hire the maids and send you the bill. Not kidding. 5. Be kind, courteous and respectful with the common areas please. 6. Pick up after your dog, or I'll happily do it and charge you money. I've got cameras all over the place. 7. Good vibes only. 8. This building has been a labor of love for me, and I've poured a lot of blood sweat and tears into this renovation, not to mention money. Please be respectful, and I'll do the same. Cool? Cool. Good talk Janice. 9. A deposit secures the unit, and I need the first month's rent 48 hours before you get the keys (well, the code, no one uses keys anymore). I can do Venmo, Zelle, cashier's check, or other certified funds. Lease via DocuSign. Happy to meet in person before you hand me money. Scammers will have a booger flicked onto their windshield. Muah. 10. Pet fees: $500, fully refundable if they don't do damage, and I don't find a mountain of hair in my AC units. You can up your odds by keeping it clean. 11. I make every attempt to be The Best Landlord You'll Ever Have, but I also run a business, have been doing this awhile and don't tolerate bad behavior. 12. Renters insurance is non-negotiable. You must have it. Period. 13. My insurance doesn't permit any Pit/pittie mixes, dobermans, mastiffs, and a couple other "dangerous" breeds. Sorry, I can't do anything about it. 14. If your dog disturbs the common areas (translation: barks all the time/etc) it will shorten your lease terms dramatically. Again, respect wins around here. 15. Cats aren't permitted at all, sorry.
