Our house is paying us! We converted our garage to an ADU in 2019 which brings in from 1500-1800.00 per month. We built it so the entrance is in the rear, it has a separate address, and a private patio. That way we never run into our tenant. We still have enough room to easily fit 4 cars in our driveway. We also redid the main house in 2014 adding skylights, copper plumbing to the street, plantation shutters, and a guest bedroom/bathroom. In 2020 we remodeled our kitchen adding granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. When we added the guest bedroom In 2014 we built it with a separate entrance and a built in microwave, refrigerator, etc that could be rented out for around 800-1,000.00 per month or used as a mother in law suite. The huge backyard is lush and completely PRIVATE with a large 9 ft pool and fruit trees. The home is a Mellinthin so has other neat features such as duel brick/stone fireplaces. We feel it should be estimated at at least $1,000.00 if you compare it to homes within a 2 mile radius, including on the other side of the freeway such as peach.
