Arrow Hill Mansion. Take a step back in time with this exquisite Antebellum mansion that radiates classic Southern charm. Rich in history, this landmark was built in 1857 by Congressman Albert G. Watkins, who acquired extensive holdings in the area. Built with bricks fired on the grounds during the Civil War, Arrow Hill originally served as a refuge and command post by both the Union and Confederacy. In order to preserve the historic significance and pass on to other generations, Arrow Hill was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
