This is a very lovely home in a ideal and well established neighborhood in DeLand, Florida. We bought the home while serving in the Air Force and started a family there. The previous owner, the Hagans, were very nice people, and she wanted the house taken care after her selling it. We took the time to update pretty much the entire house. Move in condition, while still leaving projects for other people. Recently had the roof cleaned and sealed, painted multiple rooms, and added a large number of updates, to include the above mentioned, such as carpet with 8 pds pad, redesigned sprinkler system, updated fixtures, and ceiling fans in basically every room, etc. Good neighbors and very nice location. Neighborhood Description Long Leaf Plantation is a rectangular subdivision located minutes from DeLand City proper and several major access roads. LLP is a deed restricted community with no required HOA fees. Residents tend to maintain their homes and yards at presentable standards. The community is noted for the number of large Live Oaks and Pine trees. Homes are from the early 80's, with a nice blend of younger and older couples--majority being older. Except for about 5 lots, this subdivision is finished, so what you see is pretty much what you will have for years to come.
