The house has one bedroom, one bathroom (you walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom), living room, kitchen, screened-in porch, in-house washer and dryer, private parking spot. There is room for a couple small gardens. It has a small, fenced-in yard and a shed for outdoor storage. The house feels very private and quiet. It is at the end of an alley and cul-de-sac, next to two churches and the DWP open space meadow. We are lucky to have wonderful neighbors. The house is unfurnished (besides curtains). It is heated with a propane heater. The attic was air-sealed and insulated with R70 in 2022, so it's more comfortable than many old houses in Bishop. It has new laminated vinyl plank floors from 2021. The rent is a month-to-month lease, but we are hoping to find someone who wants to be there for a while. Rent: $1800/mo. Water, sewer, trash, and recycling included. We ask all prospective tenants to submit a rental application (including a background check and credit report). We are looking for a medium-term tenant. The rental is available from Tuesday, Sept 23 to Saturday, Jan 31. The rental will not be available in February. We are considering furnishing the rental and renting it for $2,200 instead.
