This house has been rented consistently for the past 15 years so I took this opportunity to completely spruce it up. The house is solid as a rock and has been through several hurricanes with minimal damage. It's never even lost power (knock on wood) also, it's never flooded, a drainage canal runs right behind it and the yard has been shaped to allow water to flow freely around the house and straight into the drainage canal. The entire property is fenced in, however, the last renters had a few animals. It seemed ok at the time, but while I've been working on the house for the past few months, I've found quite a bit of damage that I didn't expect. So I will only allow small dogs that don't shed much or cats. Sorry, it's just too expensive these days to repair damage caused by animals and I'm really trying to keep the price down. I don't charge a monthly fee for pets, but I will ask for a bit extra on the security deposit. I'm actually the owner, I've had this house for about 20 years and do almost all of the repair work myself, so if you have a problem with something, most of the time I can have it fixed really quick. I've always tried to keep the rent below market and I think the house is a great value for the price. There is no garage in the front of the house. The back portion of what used to be a garage has been converted into a third bedroom. What remains is a fairly generous storage area. It will easily fit a motorcycle, but not a car. I'm hoping to find someone who loves the house and wants to stay for several years and isn't afraid to make the yard beautiful with plants or whatever, so if you like to garden, that's a huge plus! Also, I'm not gay, but I'm gay friendly and the neighbors are super friendly, hopefully you'll get to know some of them. I value the privacy of my tenants, I won't bother you or try to interfere with your life, I only ask that you understand that this house is a huge investment for me and I hope you'll respect my commitment to keeping it nice. That's about it, if you have questions, or would like to see it, just let me know. I live about 15 minutes away and will be happy to meet with you. It will probably go fast though, so if you're interested, please don't hesitate! Thanks for taking the time to look at my little rental! :) Leases for this property are typically for 1 year, however, longer lease periods up to 5 years have been accepted. The tenant will be responsible for the utilities. Move-in date can be adjusted, if you move in prior to the end of the month, that portion can be pro-rated.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
