Architect designed and built with many re-purposed features. There is a private front entrance off the driveway as well as a walk around covered porch area with access off both the Main living space as well as the bedroom. The floors are insulated modern concrete. High Vaulted ceilings allow natural light and an open loft feel. The kitchen has PLENTY of storage and work space and features a french door fridge, insinkerator, glass cooktop and microwave with vent fan and a convection on counter oven. Features GORGEOUS Swedish designer pendant lighting. Were renting the space with a Dyson wand rechargeable vacuum for your use! we love them. The main space is equipped with dynamic classic Bose 901 speakers and a wireless airplay connection to access from any room. Has up lit mood lighting around perimiter for ambience as well as a ceiling fan light to keep the air circulating within the very tall ceilings. Ceilings are all reclaimed fir tongue and groove and give the space a warm mid-century vibe. The bedroom is private with its own door entrance off the back deck area and the living room. It features pleated top down bottom up insulated shades on the windows and door for light filtration and privacy. The walls and ceiling are all wrapped in the reclaimed Fir for a truly unique feel. There is a large modern pendant light over the bed as well as back wall reading lights on either side of the bed. The Queen West Elm Teak bed frame and matched side table can be rented with the space at no extra cost. The Folding door Closet is fully built out with tons of storage shelving available. The back yard is fully fenced in and currently used by the front house tennants for their dog, who is super sweet! You have access to the back deck area adjacent to your space. Your view is of the grass garden and the heirloom apple tree. It feels tucked away and soothing. Heating and cooling is with a modern HEAT PUMP technology. It can be slower than what you might be used to for heating but with the use of the ceiling fan to circulate it is very effective. The house is incredibly well insulated and weve found that with just a little heat it stays very toasty warm. We include two high quality space heaters for spot heating if you prefer it. The space is also very very cool in summertime. During heat waves weve really enjoyed it without having to even run the A/C. Hot water is our only current issue and we are working on a solution that may be finalized before you move in. There is a small water heater and so water for a hot shower is limited to 10min or less. We plan to install gas and an on demand heater this year so this may be done before you move in and if not would be within the first month/two of your rental.
