Beautiful rustic cabin for rent in Green Mountain Falls. It is located high up the hill with great views across the valley and is a private location that is beautifully kept. All wood interior with large windows. It is small (about 750 square feet). It has 1 bedroom and an attached smaller room... The smaller room would make a great home office. It does not have a closet. By the way, Zillow says this property is 10,000 acres and I can't figure out how to change it. No, the property is 50' by 200', but has plenty of open space between neighbors. The cabin also has a small loft (not much overhead room but okay for guest sleeping or extra storage) and large skylights. This place is perfect for 1-2 people (no more than two occupants permitted due to septic tank limitations). Stove, fridge, washer and drier are provided (but we do not have a dishwasher or disposal). The place has two sources of heat: electric baseboard and a pellet stove. You must buy bags of pellets and we have a storage place outside for them. It has a long and steep driveway (a 4WD vehicle is certainly recommended for winter access). NO SMOKING PERMITTED. A well behaved pets are okay but an additional security deposit will be required if you have more than one pet. There is no fenced-in pet area and under no circumstances may you chain your dog up outside! It is best for a small, indoor dog. This is a house and not an apartment and you will be responsible for helping to taking care of the exterior of the property. There are some limitations in living there - you cannot take an hour long shower (because you will run out of hot water and fill the septic tank). There is no garbage disposal (because of the septic tank). And the driveway is steep and long and you would be wise to have a 4WD vehicle. The lot is sunny in part and treed in part. You are welcome to visit the place on your own - I will meet you there to show the insides - but I will want to limit my trips up the pass to not more than twice a day (so there may be others viewing the property at the same time as you). We are looking for mature and stable renters who will respect and care for this loved family property. (references will be checked and employment and earnings verified).
