    We are renting out our charming 1200 sqft. 1895 Victorian in the SoFa District so we can move around the corner to a bigger home for our growing family. As you can see from the pictures our 3 bed, 2.5 bath home is set up perfectly for 2-3 friends, or a couple (with or without an extra roommate) to enjoy. The old Victorian layout is the opposite of today's 'open concept', but in reality it works a lot better. Everyone has their own space when they need it, and plenty of room to hang out together when desired. All 3 bedrooms have personal AC wall units, so you don't have to waste electricity cooling the entire house those couple weeks in the summer that you need it. Speaking of space, the house also has a partially finished 1200sqft basement with ceilings of 6-7ft tall, concrete floors, on site laundry and storage for days. It's the perfect place for an artist, photographer, carpenter or other creative to make magic in. Or, it can be used as storage or a 'man cave/she den'. The possibilities are endless. Our back yard is also perfectly set up as a parking lot with space for 3-4 cars, with additional room for even more on the side yard. Or it can be set up as a bbq area, space for dog(s) to run or general hang out spot. We also have an available optional hot-tub for even more relaxing. We are situated next to the 280, but not to worry, the house is equipped with double paned windows throughout. You wouldn't even know it was next to the freeway when you're inside. We are also open to negotiating some of the currently available furniture and fixtures including: high top table and 8 chairs, TV mounts, curtains and some shelving. The house is 2 blocks from the SoFa district, 10 minute walk to Light Rail, about 1.5 Miles from Diridon Station, 1 Mile from City Hall, .7 Miles from SJSU, 2.5 Miles from Willow Glen and close to the 87, 101, 280 and 880. Within a 3 block radius is Camino Brewing, Dai Than Vietnamese Grocery, Say By Thai (best Thai in SJ), The Ritz Nightclub, Forager, La Ceiba Mariscos and more. We literally only use our car for special trips to bigger stores. We absolutely had a blast the last 5 years here, but with a new child on the way want a little more room. Hope you enjoy our home as much as we did. Open to scheduling viewings, ideally on the weekends or evenings. Will be taking Covid precautions (masks please) and would ideally like to only open our home to serious applicants. Credit check and references required.
