This attractive 2br/2ba ground-level corner unit at the Haven apartment complex has many features that have made it a great place to live: large closets in both bedrooms and the entry way, in-unit full size washer/dryer, bathtub, tons of kitchen storage and a pantry, a quartz-top island in the kitchen, and a nice overall layout. The patio out front is nicely shaded and super comfortable in the summer. The apartment has air-conditioning, too! I have loved living here and I wouldn't be moving if it weren't to move in with friends! Amazingly there are no shared walls with other apartments - the only shared wall is with a garage. Pets: The rent price of $1,630 does not include pets and would be $25 more per pet. The apartment complex is super pet friendly - there is a large lawn for playing with dogs (and, uh, waste collection) and there are dog-poop bags and trash-cans on the sidewalks near the complex that keep the ground clear. The maintenance guy for the complex lives on site and is really good about my pets when he comes in to do work that I've requested. Community features: The Haven Apartments at Orenco Station complex has many amenities: year-round heated pool and hot tub, large grills, a nice gym with cardio and weightlifting equipment, free coffee and fruit in the club house, a pool table, and a community catering kitchen and function space. The people at the leasing office have worked here for quite a while and are legitimately invested in improving the community - they've hosted more than one talk-to-us event where they provide free food and drinks and ask us what we should add or change in the complex. That's how we got music in the gym and more complex-hosted events like weekly poker games! Packages come to a "package concierge" box - you'll get a text/e-mail with a code and you can retrieve your package from the locker at your convenience. Super useful! There is also a Sun-Thurs trash valet that comes around and picks up the trash you leave outside your door. The MAX and Orenco Station are a 7 minute walk along Cherry Dr. Parking is free (!) available both on the street and around the complex. Move-in date, length of lease, costs: I am looking for somebody to take over the rest of my lease - June through November 10, 2019. I could leave earlier - in May or around June 1 - if you are *really* interested and need to move in ASAP. I am the first person to occupy this apartment - it was built last February - and locked in at a much lower price than comparable units in the same complex which go for $2,145. This is a great deal! You can definitely re-sign the lease when it ends in December- the complex offers leases between 5 and 13 months. With Oregon rent control, the max rent increase upon renewal would be 10% ($150). Bonus: I have already paid the security deposit on this place - we can talk specifics but you'll definitely get some of that back. Furnished? If you're interested in my couch or beds, let me know - willing to sell for a low price :) Application logistics: each person on the lease - and you will need to be on the lease - will need to apply formally through the apartment complex, which I can help you do. There are some income and renters insurance requirements which are detailed here: Mainly, the monthly household income needs to be 2.5x rent. Complex takes care of trash, renter takes care of electric (incl. heating), water, and shared gas (shared fireplaces and grills).
