A 1910 Cotswold Revival English Craftsman designed by Louis Du Puget Millar for a prominent Pasadena designer, E.J. Cheesewright. This "English cottage type" home has a thatched roof created by rolling the shingles around the edges of the roof, the hooded eaves and dormers, and the buttressing at the corners. There are spacious rooms, maple river floors and a Count Rumford fireplace. In 1934 there was a permit issued to install an elevator. Today the elevator is in its original condition but non-working. The current owner has beautifully remodeled the two upstairs bathrooms and kitchen while keeping with the integrity of the home. The backyard offers natural landscaping and includes a small vineyard and many fruit trees.
