Hi! We have 2 unfurnished rooms opening in our 4 bdr. 3 bath both with 4/1 move ins. The house has a washer/dryer, central air and heat, wood floors throughout, a dishwasher, a driveway + plenty of street parking, and a big backyard. We're located in the quiet University Hills neighborhood near the 183/290 intersection. No smoking (of any kind) is allowed in the house. Each room rents for $675 + about $150/mo for utilities. $675 deposit. These would also make great art studios! Downstairs Room This room has its own bathroom (with a shower, no bathtub). The windows overlook the backyard. It's the only bedroom on the bottom floor, so you have some extra privacy in that way. Big closet. Upstairs Room (Room #2) This room shares a bathroom with one other person. It has a bathtub and a rain showerhead. Big closet as well! About the tenants: There are currently 2 women living in the house, one in her early 30s, one in her 40s; and one cat, Rick Moranis, who is very social with humans and also likes other male cats to know he's the alpha (not in a violent way, but in a steal-your-chair way). As far as the humans go, one woman works in a museum, and the other works from home. Here's a note from them: We both have busy social lives, but we like to laugh in the kitchen, have a drink together, and watch Game of Thrones! We don't have "quiet hours" in the house per se, though we are respectful if someone wants to turn in and someone else wants to watch TV (just turn the volume low), and we like to listen to music around the house sometimes or watch shows while we cook. We're not a party house, but we have thrown a couple dinner parties and get-togethers that have been really fun! We're a politically liberal household and queer-friendly. We're looking for someone clean (you do your dishes after you use them instead of leaving them in the sink, wipe the stove and counters when you're done cooking, you're on board for a weekly chore chart, etc.). We value open, solution-oriented communication, aka we're friendly and we handle issues directly with kindness, not aggression or gossip and we're looking for the same from our roomies. Year-long lease. If you leave before-hand, you're responsible for filling your spot with someone the other tenants like.
