Dogtown is being re-developed so it is a mixture of working class and middle class residents. In the summer evenings you can hear the clink of washers being thrown. The restaurants near Tamm and Clayton are very good, (some of the best mexican and Irish) and for great Greek there is Olympia off of Plateau and Mc Causland. The neighborhood is clean and generally quite and the people are friendly. Dogtown is know for its great St. Patty's Day parade. The closeness to Forest Park is just a luxury.
