The home itself is an 1800sq ft rambler. New roof, siding is still working it's way up. It has new and newer windows. The windows that we did not replace still looked good and have acted good. The HVAC is is te process of being finished. Gas is off at the moment, but the other utilities are up and running. Neighborhood Description It's a quiet neighborhood. Neighbors are very friendly, and have been happy to see this house remodeled. Directly behind the house is a large LDS wardhouse. Southwest of the house is Butler Elementary, one of the best in the state of Utah. Down from the elementary school is Butler Middle, and the Cottonwood Hgts Rec Center. Great mountain views from the front of the house. Quiet in the back. From here, you're just a few minutes drive from the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon, from there you are a short drive to Brighton Ski Resort and Solitude Mountain Resort. Close to shopping, just down the hill on Ft. Union Blvd. New laundry/utility room, new kitchen, new bathrooms, and completely new wiring, and internal plumbing throughout the house. Very nice. No garage will be put on because of having to move the gas meter from the carport. One thing that I have enjoyed with this house is just how friendly the neighbors are. They have looked after the house when I have not had the time to be up there to work on it. Also, they have all been extremely supportive of the updating of the house.
