We are looking for a winter/academic year (September-July) renter only. On almost a half acre lot and a seven minute walk from the beach, you'll love living in our South County home! The house makes the most of its small footprint with two small bedrooms, a nice bathroom and an open kitchen, living and dining room. There is also a large basement (outdoor access) with a washer and dryer that is a great place for storage. There is a small shed on the property that has a desk and a bed. There is a porch off the front of the house and a deck off the back (BBQ grill included). The home is currently furnished and we would prefer to rent it furnished if possible. But please reach out if that won't work for you and we can discuss, perhaps we can put our things in the basement. The area is very quiet during the fall, winter & spring. However, there are several restaurants and stores that are open year round near us on Charlestown Beach Road. Due to the proximity to the beach, the weather is temperate. You'll be able to take walks on the beach year round! We are only able to accept applicants who are interested in a September 1, 2024 - July 31, 2025 lease at this time. Please do not reach out if you are interested in a summer rental or a year round lease as neither are possible. First months rent and security deposit are due at signing. The renter is responsible for electric (the home is heated via electric baseboards), & internet (Fios). We will cover propane (for the hot water heater) & trash. The home is on a well, so there is no cost for water. The home is on a septic system that is in great shape. There is no smoking allowed. There is a zero tolerance policy and smoking in the house will result in automatic termination of the lease. Pets are allowed.
