This home was remodeled for me not intended for a rental so the appliances, building materials, ceiling fans, and fire place insert are all top of the line and tasteful. I am calling in the perfect person or people to enjoy this space. We border 160 acres of both Bonny Doon reserve and Santa Cruz land trust. There are hiking trails right off of the property and Santa Cruz maintain trails that go for miles right off of our road. The property is located in Bonny Doon and the closest intersection is Smith grade and Bonny Doon Road. We are not far from the coast at this location. There is a studio on the property lived in by one single man who is a retired chiropractor from Chicago and spends most of his time, backcountry, hiking and biking. He is away a lot and is very friendly and respectful when he is in town. I also as the owner spend time on the property in the summer in a separate space. This unit is best suited for up to 2 vechicles as the driveway works the best this way for turning around. I am open to pets on a case by case basis. Ideally only one dog because the wood floors are very beautiful and in the past I did have dogs damage them. There will be a separate pet deposit for pets. We have a great synergy on the land here. Everyone gets along great. I am sorry to see the tenants leaving that are currently leaving. The three bedroom houses the most private part of the property as you have to go through a back gate and then it opens up to your own private space and entrance. the studio does not have access to this area. It is private for the three bedroom. I may be a little flexible on the move-in date, but ideally it would be September 1. I'm looking for a long-term tenant so the lease will be renewable each year. Background check and proof of income will be required. If you are picked to be the best fit for the property then there will be a small fee for a realtor to run these reports in order to approve you. I do not have anyone pay until I have picked who I think is best suited for the property So this is not an application fee it is only if you are picked for the property you will have to pay the small fee to run the reports. If you don't pass, then I will do the next runner up and they will pay the fee. please let me know if you have any questions. It is a beautiful space. It's a great for remote workers or people who love to surf up the coast or have easy access to hiking and biking. The couple in there now communes to Santa Cruz 6 days a week and the other works from home. Price may be negotiable if only two people. I am looking for the right fit for the property, so please tell me about yourself when you are applying for this house. House is 16 minutes to the West Side. Owner pays water and garbage. Pets approved on case by case basis with pet deposit. Property borders, 160 acres that will never be built. There is another studio on the property as well as the owners cabin, but the owner is only on the property a few months of the year.
