This is my George Lucas selling the Star Wars franchise moment. This is a gorgeous piece of property that I purchased to put a home on, but I have discovered that I'm not going to build a home on it over the years. Instead I'm going get something more remote. (I grew up in Alaska) This is actually two lots for sale: 1. One small lot with the address 2. The four-acre lot that has the stream going through it The small lot is the lot that has portions of the land outside the flood plain. There's a really big hidden upside to this land: I think there's a natural spring inside Mill Creek at the end of the land. It's inside the property, it always has water, and when you swim in it, it goes to 9 ft deep. It's really cool, different from the rest of the water temperature in the summer. A couple of downsides that are reflected in the price: there isn't a private bridge that goes across the creek. You would want to build a low water bridge across the creek so that when it rains the water could go over. A majority of the 4.6 acres is in the 100yr flood plain. That's why you have to buy both lots since only the small lot has the area that is out of the flood plain. This is truly an incredible piece of property, idealic, just north of Shawnee Mission Park, access to trails down Midland, etc etc. I'm selling this land because I want to buy a different piece of land and I'm selling it myself, so please send me the net bid after all fees. I want to use this money to buy a new piece of property, so I will give preference to speed.
