This was my grandparents home (Granny and Papa). They happily lived here into their 90’s. They were the only owners and raised their 3 kids here. Their daughter asked me to help list the home on Zillow and I’m happy to do so. I will pass on any potential buyers her way. They had the home appraised last month. It appraised for $267,000. They’re willing to work with realtors but those without will be moved to the top of the list. The original hardwood floors can be found under all the carpeted areas. The walls and trim could use a fresh coat of paint but otherwise this home has been lovingly taken care of and maintained. Papa spent a small fortune on the paver driveway. He made it large enough to accommodate his car off to the side so Granny could have her car in the garage. The shed out back was used for storage which allowed the garage to be free of clutter. The heated and insulated laundry room was built on the backside of the garage. It can be accessed from the garage or from the back patio. Granny did laundry here for 60 years and never once found it a burden. She loved all the storage space and utilized every inch. The kitchen is small but very functional. I remember the most amazing Thanksgiving and Easter dinners coming out of that cozy kitchen. Granny hand washed all her dishes. She never wanted a dishwasher so one was never installed. She was pretty amazing! We would love to see a young family or maybe a newly retired couple looking to downsize purchase this home. There is a wonderful mix of families of all ages in the neighborhood.
