The neighborhood has been filling with foreigners, mostly from California, who are artificially inflating property values (and thereby taxes) while bringing their belligerence and fascism with them. We used to all get along, and have a Texas Friendly, neighborly, community. Now, it's more likely that the cops will be on your doorstep than a neighbor with a beer. Sad. Very sad. They ostensibly think they are improving the value of their property by attacking the old timers and trying to force us into some arbitrary aesthetic compliance. They are just destroying the true value of these old neighborhoods.
