Three bedroom, two bathroom waterfront house on the beautiful Cotee River located in New Port Richey FL for rent. It is equipped with a craftsman style custom kitchen with mission oak cabinets, deep ceramic sink, a glass top range, and a side-by-side fridge with ice/wtr in the door. There is a tankless water heater (for an endless supply of hot water), central heat/air, and a W/D hookup. The house has original heart-of-pine floors and tile in the kitchen. Two large bay windows face out at the river where there is a large dock and seating. Out back there is a concrete patio, and on the property are fig, persimmon, tropical cherry, orange, and mango trees. Out front there is a large circle drive connected to the main drive/carport. The roof is clad in state of the art lifetime metal that is reflective and highly energy efficient. Some of the neighbors were so impressed they are having one put on! Then there is the river - I had a big concrete patio and dock installed a few years ago for relaxing by the river - watching the snook, mullet, manatees, and dolphin swim by on daily basis. And that is no exaggeration! There is also a boat lift if you have up to a 20' boat. The house is located just north of downtown New Port Richey and is close to tons of stuff. There is a city owned waterfront park with pavilions starting about 500 feet to the south that leads to a much bigger park adjacent to downtown (Sims Park). They have music events on a regular basis there. It's really cool to be so close! It has a splash park for the kids, a historical museum, a band stage for concerts, a lake with turtles and ducks....awesome and a great place to walk to! Downtown is approximately 1/2-mile away, as is a recreation/aquatic center, Morton Plant Hospital, a public library, Cotee River Brewery, tons of great restaurants, a public boat launch...too much to list. Fred Howard Park Beach is about a 30 minutes drive to the south (I spent some good time here snorkeling as a kid, and a safe place to hang out on the weekends as a teenager. Also sailboarding and water skiing were so much fun). There is a new fresh water park called SunWest Park 20 minutes to the north loaded with volleyball courts, wakeboard track, obstacle course, grills....awesome! And Weeki Wachee springs is about 15 minutes further north for a truly unique experience swimming with manatees, or just enjoying the crystal clear spring water (I like to take my paddle board there - so beautiful!!). Tarpon Springs is about 20 minutes away, Clearwater is 45 minutes to the south and Tampa is about 45 minutes to the east. Fishing in the area is some of the best in Florida. It really is an awesome location!! The place is ready to move in. I also have a full-time staff maintenance technician to address any problems that might arise. The rent is $1,600/month including water, sewer, and garbage. First month's rent and a security deposit ($2000) is required prior to move in. Again, I am probably at work so plz text or email only - calls will not be answered. Owner pays for water/sewer/garbage. First Month's rent plus $2000 security deposit.
