Small house with 3 season porch, recent interior paint, garden, fireplace, space for two adults and some storage. Nice situation for transition or those house hunting in the area. Landlord is usual occupant; this means both that property meets my living standards and that I will review any applicants very carefully. Must be OK with cats. This is a very good short-term rental deal for a responsible adult or couple who like cats but isn't bringing one. My cats are very independent and dog tolerant (for a dog who is cat friendly). Deposit refunded if no damage to house, furnishings and cats in good health on my return. I will want several references, preferably at least one in the Bloomington-Normal area. No smoking. There will be a local contact for maintenance if necessary.
