    What's special

This home is a meticulously maintained bungalow build in 1914 during the age when craftsmen took a lot of pride in their crafts. It has two bedrooms on the main floor connected by a walk through closet with a door at each end. The corner bedroom at the front enters from the living room and the next bedroom can be entered from the dining room, through the closet in the front room, or from the bathroom. The middle room and living room both feature ceiling fans, and the dining room has a five bulb hanging table light which can be adjusted for brightness. The main floor bathroom features a full length mirror that folds out from the wall, and a smart shower head. In the kitchen you'll find a range with matching cabinets on both sides and a center island with glass cutting board, large utensil drawer that opens to either side, and good sized cabinet underneath for pots and pans. Through the kitchen and to the left what was once the outside door now opens to a fully enclosed porch and stairway leading to the back door midway, or make a right and down into the basement you go. At the bottom of the stairs you will be in the laundry room with front loading Sears Kenmore washer/dryer set. Straight across the floor is the downstairs bathroom which also features a full length fold out mirror and a added on bidet. To the right of the bathroom door, cleverly concealed behind the wall, you will enter bedroom 3. The room is 26.5 feet in length and 10.5 feet wide at the floor. Technically I'm not supposed to call it a bedroom because there is no closet, but it was my bedroom for 11 years and I was quite comfortable there. It has deep cabinets end to end on the south side and a continuous shelf along the other side. Outside there 7,000 sq. ft. of property fully fenced front and back. In the back there is a 16 foot wide steel gate that swings on bearings with two 8 foot sections that close to the center connected to a 6 ' privacy fence around the back of the property. In the front there is composite decorative fencing enclosing the yard with spring loaded gate. The mailbox is located at the edge of the sidewalk just inside the fence so the mail carrier doesn't have to come inside to deliver the mail. In the rear next to the gate there is a one car garage with electric open, and an 8'x12' wooden shed in very good condition. There is also a concrete slab 9'x20' that can be used for any number of things. I once had an 8'x15' shed on it, so the slab actually has footers if the buyer would want to put another structure on it. The house was reshingled in 2008, resided with vinyl siding in 2010, and the furnace and water heater have both been replaced within the last 6 years. There are two window A/C units on the main floor and a portable one in the basement that will remain with the house. They work well and keep the place cool in summer. If one wanted to install central air it would be pretty easy as the vent system is already installed with vents in every room. There are no complications to hang up the transfer of ownership. I own the house free and clear, and the taxes are paid up until April of 2025. The neighborhoood has been virtually crime free for me. 12 years and I have never had a single item stolen from the property. I am still living in the house and will need one week to vacate and remove my things from the garage upon closing. The neighbors on each side are nice widowed gals. To the south side is Pat. She is very quiet and getting on in years. On the north side is Ellen. She is the evil one. She will bring you things you can't resist still warm from the oven that will make you fat. Chocolate chip cookies, banana bread, snickerdoodles, etc. EVIL! I priced this house for a quick sale so ya better hurry if ya don't want to miss it. I'm retired and the only one left living here. It's way more house than I need, and I want to do some travelling, so I want to get it gone and get on with my plans. Thanks for looking!
