The location is near all the conveniences Maple Grove has to offer its residents, i.e. shopping, entertainment, neighborhood parks, restaurants, public library, and the Maple Grove Community Center with adjacent health club. The backyard has a permanent dock providing quick access to Eagle Lake. Eagle Lake is a 291 acre, fully recreational lake ideally suited for all seasonal lake activities. Live the dream with lake ownership without the hassle of commuting up North. The current owners have done extensive updates and improvements during their ownership. Materials alone have cost almost $100,000. Some of updates and improvements are: ~ In 2001, re-landscaped the entire lot, added a remotely controlled backyard fountain, and re-built the backyard fence. Also, rearranged the walls of living room area and installed an oversized picture window to capture the full view of the lake. In addition, new carpeting, a lighted Casablanca ceiling fan, and new window treatments were added to the living room. ~ In 2002, installed ceramic tile to the lower level bath as well as repainted the room. Also, redecorated the laundry room by adding ceramic tile, repainted the room, and installed a new washer and dryer. A new, custom trapezoidal window was installed in the main level family room to provide more natural lighting. In 2002, the lower level amusement room was completely redone by installing a new oversized patio door for the walkout, adding a new gas fireplace with a ceramic tile surround, adding oak capping on the perimeter ledge, installing new carpeting and new window treatments in the room. ~ In 2003 numerous projects were undertaken. A stone block retaining wall was constructed near the north side of the home. The upper level bath was also completely redone with a new tub and shower, ceramic tile was added around the tub and shower, a new window for better lighting was added. Lastly, the upper level bath received new ceramic tile flooring, new mirrors, and the sink was replaced as well as the plumbing fixtures. The master bedroom and the master bath were also totally re-done in 2003. The ceiling was vaulted to match the contemporary feel of the home. The closet area was expanded and new mirrored doors were installed. The master bath was enlarged, the vanity top, cabinet, plumbing fixtures were replaced and ceramic tile flooring was installed. An oversized patio door was installed in the master bedroom to capture lake views. A new window was installed on the north side of the bedroom for better lighting. New carpeting and window treatments were added. And, lastly, a new Casablanca lighted ceiling fan was added to the bedroom ceiling. The secondary bedroom on the upper level received a new window on the south side in 2003. ~ In 2004, installed an in-ground sprinkler system to cover the entire lot. Also, built a second two car garage and landscaped the surrounding area. ~ In 2005, the kitchen and informal dining area were changed. Granite countertops, ceramic tile back splashes were installed. New kitchen appliances including the range/oven, microwave, and refrigerator were installed. A new sink and faucet fixtures were also added. Lastly, seven recessed lights were installed on the vaulted ceiling to provide perfect kitchen lighting. ~ In 2006, the boat lift adjacent to the dock was installed. ~ In 2008, the deck off the master bedroom was replaced with a maintenance free material. New railings with glass panels were added. ~ In 2009, the dock was replaced with a four foot wide walkway. Metal poles up to eighteen feet long were sunk into the earth to provide a permanent fixture. ~ Plus lots more in 2010.
