All of West Central abandoned Fort Wayne to move to South Wayne and build Mansions. Asa was no different. He was the Grandson of General Lemuel Asa Grosvenor who fought at Bunker Hill in the revolutionary war. Asa was a muckity muck in Allen County politics on a number of levels. He left us, as the future, a spectacular home on a quiet, one-way street. 1 bedroom lower in Historic South Wayne. Quiet one way street. At one time, this was a HUGE single family Mansion. It is now a small apartment building with 4 (four) units. This one is just off the front door on the lower east side of the building. The ceilings are 12 foot tall throughout the space. It was a stately mansion! Large living room with tons of natural light. The flooring throughout is carpet with ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathroom. Likely the smallest kitchen you will ever have in your entire life. Microscopic, absolutely well planned to maximize everything, but tiny. Picture in your mind the smallest kitchen you can think of.... It's half that size. This is not the kitchen of a gourmet French Chef. Large bedroom with a bay window, and a large closet. Remote control ceiling fan in the bedroom. Somewhat modern remodeled bathroom. Laundry on property. Up to 2 cats or 1 reasonable dog are welcome with a 1 time $200 pet fee and $20 a month per pet. Additional pets are charged a $100 pet fee and $20 a month each. Tenant pays Electric and a $25 surcharge for sewer. The Landlord provides your Water, and Trash. ALL ELECTRIC UNIT, NO GAS BILL. The ideal candidate(s) will have a minimum credit score of 650, no active collections, no felonies, no violent charges of any kind, zero evictions, and have a (combined) Net or take home (IN YOUR POCKET after taxes) income of 3 (Three) times the posted rent. If you do not qualify traditionally, you may use a well-qualified and collectable co-signer or put down 2 months of rent as an additional deposit.
