You can live in it while you fix it. I have a house in Charleroi which my wife and I used to rent out. It's a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with some updates done. It's in average condition and can be moved into immediately. We'd prefer to sell it outright but we'd also consider a trade for the right offer. Full disclosure - the house is solid, but there's a retaining wall in the back yard which needs to be addressed. It fell in. It isn't preventing the house from being livable, but you'll want to get that fixed up after you take ownership. I'm no longer able to do this kind of work any so I'm being very reasonable with what I'm asking for the house. I'm asking $8000 for the home. I am also willing to consider trades. I'm particularly looking for a truck in decent condition. I'll trade straight-up for the right truck that's close to the value of the home. I'm not looking for a vehicle that needs significant work or has insanely high miles. I'll also listen to reasonable, serious offers.
