# House Rules
To provide a clean, safe, and respectful living environment for all residents, the following house rules apply:
1. **Clean Up After Yourself** All tenants are expected to clean up immediately after using the kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining area, and any shared spaces. Wash dishes, wipe down counters, and dispose of trash properly.
2. **Shared Spaces** Common areas must be left clean and organized after each use. Do not leave personal belongings in shared areas.
3. **No Smoking or Vaping** Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, marijuana, or any tobacco products are not permitted anywhere inside the home.
4. **Respect Quiet Hours** Quiet hours are from **10:00 PM to 7:00 AM**. Please keep noise, music, TV, and phone conversations at a respectful level.
5. **Guests** Occasional guests are welcome, but overnight guests require prior approval from the landlord. Guests may not stay for extended periods or move into the property without being added to the lease.
6. **No Unauthorized Occupants** Only tenants listed on the lease may reside in the home.
7. **Kitchen Courtesy** Label and store your food properly. Do not use or take another tenant's food or personal belongings without permission.
8. **Trash** Place all trash in the appropriate bins. Help keep the property clean by disposing of garbage regularly.
9. **Bathroom Etiquette** Clean up after each use and report any plumbing issues immediately.
10. **Respect the Property** Do not damage walls, doors, appliances, furniture, or fixtures. Tenants are responsible for damage caused by themselves or their guests.

19. **Landlord Access** The landlord may enter shared areas for cleaning, inspections, maintenance, or repairs with notice as required by law. Private bedrooms will only be entered as permitted by the lease and applicable law.
20. **Failure to Follow House Rules** Repeated violations of these rules may result in written warnings, fees if permitted by the lease, or termination of the lease in accordance with Texas law.
