    What's special

Location, location, location. 2 blocks north of Seattle Center From your front door, it's just over 1 block to a bus stop with 5 different lines serving downtown. Walk to South Lake Union in about 15 - 20 minutes. Coffee shops, QFC, restaurants, convenience stores, bars and nightspots all within a 2-block radius. About a 5 -7 minute walk to Metropolitan Market, Bartells, and the heart of Lower Queen Anne. You may not need it very often, but please do bring your car if you've got one. The apartment includes a private, designated and reserved offstreet parking space (worth about twice its weight in gold in this neighborhood, where parking is tight and only going to get worse). The building is a small, 10-unit complex. Most of the tenants have been there over 5 years, a few over 10, and one for between 15-20 years. This is an urban location, on a relatively quiet street but still close to the main drag, that is easy to call "home". When you come in the front door, the living room is immediately ahead (about 15 x 18 feet) and the dining area is beyond (about 7 x 10). The kitchen is to the left of the dining area. Updated about 10 years ago, there are decent cabinets, countertops, and appliances. A small hallway, with two storage closets is beyond the living room, with access to the bath, (tub, shower, ceramic tile floor) and the two bedrooms. The larger bedroom, with 8 feet of closet space, is approximately 12 X 15. The smaller bedroom is 10 X 10. All rooms except the kitchen and the bathroom have hardwood parquet flooring. There is a laundry room on site, with storage lockers Rent includes water, sewer, and garbage. Rent includes one parking space. A second parking space is available for an additional $100 per month. Don't come expecting granite countertops and all the latest whiz bang features. (Manual dishwashing, by the way). There are plenty of more modern places available in the area. Most rent for at much higher amounts. Rent includes water, sewer, and garbage. Rent includes one reserved, off street parking spot adjacent to the building. Rent includes one storage locker. All applicants must pass a credit and criminal background check. Due to the Pandemic, there will be no in-person showings of this apartment prior to submission of a fully refundable $100 "earnest money" deposit and a completed application for tenancy. Without charge, I can make a lot more photos, a video, etc available if needed in order to help a prospect decide if they want to apply and schedule a viewing. But due to the pandemic I'm not interested in having groups of strangers wandering through in lookie-loo status.
