This property is in a very convenient area. With in 5 minutes walking distance is: public (Scat) bus transport stop. CVS pharmacy, (public park with running track, ball fields, tennis courts, kids pay ground, and walking trails), restraints, and shopping. A 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive will take you over one of the 3 the intercostal water way bridges to Venice City center for quaint shopping and eating on Venice Ave. and Main Street. Venice public beach is at the end of Venice Ave. Once on the island of Venice you will find all kinds of shopping and eating places as well as the hospital, schools, Gulf course, small airport, Library, City Hall, fire department, Community center, Art center, Churches, Banks, Post office. You do have to drive or take the bus to get to Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes and bigger shopping Centers that are about 3-4 miles away but still quite close in my estimation. We built this house ourselves and lived here for years until going away for further education and jobs in another state. We couldn't think of a better place to retire to some day so that is why we rent and dream of maybe returning to this beautiful area one day. The lease is for one year. A signed contract is required. Rent is due on the designated start dated each month. The Grace period is three days then a $50 fee takes effect. Habitual lateness is cause for lease termination. No smoking of any kind inside house or lanai is allowed. Renter is responsible for setting up and paying Electric and water/trash utilities in their own name. Security and pet deposits are returned upon inspection and repair cost, if any, are deducted. Tenant is responsible fro regular maintenance within the house and yard, drive way and walks outside the house. We strongly suggest the renter obtain renters insurance to cover their personal property because our house insurance is for the structure only. If there is any need for repairs the first have to be reported to Usama Dakdok for him to arrange for the repair and payment. Renter replaces light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries as needed. Please live in and take care of our home as if it is your own while you enjoy living in it.
