It has been recently renovated and is walking distance to Brookland Metro and bars, shops, CUA. Lots of different permutations possible). The place: - Amenities include central air and heat, hardwood floors, open kitchen with dishwasher and stainless steel appliances, Miele washer and dryer, and updated bathrooms (one has a bathtub and a rainfall shower head, the other a very large shower with dual rainfall shower heads). So it's the best of both worlds really - views of Brookland treetops and sunset skies while also feeling like you live in a chill neighborhood. The neighborhood: Also best of both worlds: residential and friendly while also being minutes away from Brookland / CUA metro stop (and its nearby restaurants, shops, and weekly farmers market) to the north, and Dew Drop Inn and the Met Branch Trail to the south (and there's basement storage available for bikes). There's also a G8 bus stop on the street corner, two houses down from our front door. Dance Place, Annie's Ace Hardware, and lots of coffee shops and restaurants are between a 2 and 5 min walk away, and all the Brookland restaurants on 12th street that are a 10 min walk away. The condo comes semi-furnished, but I am open to renting it unfurnished if need be. Renter pays for bills (gas, and electricity, internet). No smoking indoors allowed. Pets negotiable.
