Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus has two nearby routes: #3 (between Downtown and LAX) a block away and #8 (between Downtown and UCLA) three blocks. It's a perfect WFH spot. You'll need good references, be looking for a quiet place that's worth taking care of, and be pet free. It's Santa Monica, so there's no smoking. The lease has no surprises, no unusual requirements, no gotchas. The only limitations involve bicycle storage (in the locked shed, rather than in the unit or locked on the landing) and the restrictions on smoking mandated by city law.
