Large 15.5'x13.5' main room with a fold out Murphy Bed (if you... or guests... want to use it) and hardwood floors; 7'x9' eat-in kitchen with electric ignition stove and frost-free refrigerator; built-in heat-pump for summer A/C and winter heat; full bath with sliding glass shower doors; and ample closet space. Utilities are on you, but you get to use the washer and dryer for free (worth about $300 a year in laundromat fees... and you don't have to travel to a laundromat). Parking's on the street (you can get a preferential permit from the city). We'll store your car if you go on a vacation or travel out-of-town. And there's a locked storage shed that's hidden from view so that no one (but you) knows it's there. It's a ten minute stroll to Main Street, sixteen to the beach, and it's close to grocery shopping (Whole Foods, Gelson's, and Smart & Final), Main Street restaurants, and the property owners (who live on the same lot and take care of everything right away). Our next tenant will need good references (we run a credit check), be looking for a nice, quiet place to live (and take care of), and be pet free (we've got pet allergies). It's Santa Monica, so there's no smoking. First month + a one month security deposit on a minimum one-year lease. (The deposit is kept in an interest-bearing account, and we give you that interest at the end of your tenancy.) Small application (credit check) fee if that information isn't available through Zillow (if we run the credit check, you get the full credit report in the bargain). This is redundant (it's in the main listing), but you pay for gas (for cooking) and electricity, we pay for water (and the gas to heat it), you get to use the laundry facilities for free, which saves about $300 a year at a laundromat (but because time-of-use rates are now in effect, you can't do laundry between 4 and 9 pm... and we can't either). The lease covers e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g, and it's almost impossible to include all the details (but there's nothing out of the ordinary).
