Easy Summer Living in this light, bright and spacious, fully furnished one bedroom cottage tucked in the back of a compound. This quiet, private Old Town (south of Truman) rental is available from May 1st, 2026 until late September or October. It is remarkably quiet for Key West. The airy living space opens through double French doors onto a large, private wood deck with a "sail" awning and a large dining table for four plus lots of tropical plants. (Ideal Tenant will be willing to water the plants. :)) Easy street parking -- rare in Key West. The main room has a high vaulted ceiling and plenty of windows. It feels very spacious and comfortable. A large bedroom has a queen-sized mattress and a nice closet. The cottage is air conditioned in both rooms and has its own washer/dryer. This is my home, so there are a few personal belongings here, but the large closet will be virtually empty, I leave my books and the things you'll need (linens, kitchen ware, etc.) No smoking or pets; sorry. You can have a look at the cottage on video ( youtube 0wFpXeccVGU ) - there are a couple of comments in the voice over that make no sense because it was made for a previous year's tenant who rented the place sight unseen. It is only available for minimum of 5 or 6 months. It is available for $2650/ month, (plus $2,000 damage deposit and utilities deposit). Water, wifi, and electric is included. The property is 2 blocks off Duval and is walking distance to Higg's Beach and most attractions, and there is a nice trike you can use. First, last and security to move in. $45 application fee.
