We bought this home in 2003 and it served us wonderfully for almost 4 years. Its solidly built and beautifully updated. We recently painted it inside and out and added new, drought-tolerant landscaping in the last 2 months. Hand-made Mexican Saltillo tile was laid in 2003. The windows are relatively new (not the originals) and we've rewired one of the bedrooms as it served as a home office for about a year. Neighborhood Description We LOVE this neighborhood. So much that we only moved a block away. Its in the middle of everything, the park, the Historic Duck Pond, the Thomas Center, etc. The public library is about a 5 minute bike ride, as is Publix and downtown. Ward's is about a ten minute bike ride. The people are friendly and the trees. THE TREES! Big, beautiful trees abound. We adore this neighborhood. UF professors and grad students will particularly love this area as it's quiet and about a 15 minute bike ride from UF.
