Remember visiting Florida as a youngster & you'd spend the entire day at the beach, looking for that special shell that was perfect in every way. Then you'd dip into the beautiful blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, build those near perfect sand castles, then take a long, leisurely walk down the beach in hopes of finding the biggest shark's tooth ever! At day's end going back to Grandma's house always meant wonderful aroma's of fresh baked bread, cookies and spaghetti sauce that had simmered all day. After a cool bath and dry clothes, Grandpa would help lay out all your wonderful "finds" and then asked if you wanted a push on the swing that hung from the glorious old oak tree that graces the back yard. I had so much room to run & play, and catch fireflies in that big back yard. He was always working on something in his shed that he called his workshop. After dinner, we'd sit on the screened lanai and listen to the tree frogs and night noises. Soon I'd be nodding off and Grandpa would carry me off to bed. I loved it there and I never wanted the winter vacation to end. This 2 bedroom 1-1/2 bath home sits on a wonderful deep lot with two stately oaks and mature landscaping, & will bring back all those wonderful memories. The dining room has original wood french doors leading to a large screened lanai, with pass-thru from the kitchen. The converted carport was used as a den and has a half bath and laundry room for convenience. Great investment...a must see!
