The home is very dog friendly with a fully enclosed yard. We welcome four legged family members without any additional deposit. Parking is on the street, but always available right in front. Traditional shutters are installed on all main level windows and doors for security during any storm. We are fortunate to have our home in one of the rare high and dry areas of New Orleans, protected from flooding. Heating and cooling are controlled through a Nest thermostat which can connect via wifi to any computer or smartphone. Our neighbors are kind, helpful, and friendly. It is a perfect slice of New Orleans surrounded by modern and traditional homes, warehouses filled with Mardi Gras floats, blocks from St Charles and Magazine Street, streets filled with film and tv productions, amazing food, and incredible people. You'll also notice that our home also has a separate studio apartment, 741 St James. This we maintain as our own second home which we only use a few times a year.
