I am a retired engineer with a room available for one nonsmoking housemate with no pets, in a peaceful neighborhood. The house is very clean and well maintained. The unfurnished first floor bedroom is rather small (100 square feet, including a closet), but there is plenty of common space in the living room, dining room, kitchen and coat closet. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs (which I normally use) and one downstairs (primarily for the housemate). The downstairs bathroom has a tub and shower. There is also a shared laundry room with washer and dryer. Storage space is available in an outdoor shed. The $800 monthly rent includes electricity, gas heat, water and Wi-Fi. Just a short walk to the RIPTA number 60 bus line that runs between Providence and Newport, and 10 miles from downtown Newport. A background check is required.
