    What's special

    Beautiful 2 bedroom right outside downtown. Within walking distance of a really great burger place called Bandbox, and very close to US Bank Stadium. Downtown is about 20 minutes away on foot. Right next to the intersection of 35 and 94, so you can get pretty much anywhere really fast. Easy access to the buses on Chicago ave, and the US Bank light rail station. The building is a brownstone constructed in 1897, but it has all modern appliances. Refrigerator, stove, and bathtub. Heating, but no A/C (unless you get a window unit). Our unit is at the front of the building, and has HUGE south-facing windows that are fantastic for growing plants if you're into that. It's on the third floor and only accessible by stairs. Hardwood floors except for the bathroom which is tiled, and the bedrooms which are carpeted. The apartment is part of the Old Town In Town Co-operative, so if you live here you are a Co-op member. Members all pitch in to maintain the property, so each unit is assigned a weekly chore (ie vacuum the hallway, pick up trash outside, etc). Pets are allowed, and there is a dog run right across the street for co-op members. Co-op members also get access to two grill areas, as well as a garden plot if you'd like one. There is also bike storage both outside and in the shared basement, and you get a private small storage locker in the basement. Shared laundry in the basement that you pay for with a special laundry card. There is a parking lot for the co-op, but spots cost $70 a month and there is currently a waitlist for spots. There is also street parking right outside, you just need to register for a permit for each car (if you have one) which also gets you one visitor pass. We are still currently living in the unit, but are moving out around the end of the month. It should be possible for you to move in a few days early if you'd like. We will be repainting some of the rooms and replacing some of the floor before you move in. Contact me if you're interested in seeing the place or if you have any questions!
